Large Rectangle Platter - Hydrangea Leaves

8 X 10 Inches, made of stoneware clay. The imprints are done while the clay is still green and malleable. The leafs are arranged and pressed into the clay. After some time and the clay has firmed up a bit, the leaves are removed and the piece is bisque fired. To add color to each leaf a watercolor technique is used with underglaze to create depth adding another level of uniqueness to each leaf. A clear glaze is applied all over the piece and it's fired once more, giving it's final appearance. Microwave and dishwasher safe.
